About Prowhitening

Prowhitening is an Australian owned and managed company. Prowhitening’s mission is to educate clients that teeth whitening is not just a cosmetic procedure but also a lifestyle change. It allows us to feel clean and cleansed on a daily basis while reversing the effects of age, diet and poor habits that continually stain the teeth.

Misleading advertising surrounding the teeth whitening industry have led many people to believe that teeth whitening would actually change the genetic colouring of their teeth. This is of course, not the case. Teeth whitening, “wherever you do it and however you do it, whether you pay $149 or $1,000 will never change the genetic colouring or your teeth”.

Prowhitening’s tested technology guarantees that your teeth will be 2- 6 shades lighter after treatment. Their amazing method bleaches the teeth using carbamide Peroxide to lift stains. One of the most important aspects of this component is that it is non-abrasive and therefore has no damaging effects on the enamel. It is completely safe to use on crowns, veneers or false teeth.

Our accelerator uses the most advanced technology to produce a cold LED light, which operates in a narrow wavelength range, remaining within the gentle blue spectrum. This important process removes harmful heat and ultraviolet light, making the Prowhitening accelerator the most advanced cold light whitening device on the market.

Prowhitening FAQ

Does teeth whitening paint our teeth white?

Teeth whitening, wherever you do it and however you do it, whether you pay
$150 or $1,000 - will never change the genetic colouring of your teeth, nor will it paint your teeth in an unnatural white. The American white smile is usually caps.

How effective and quick is it?

The 20 minute Prowhitening procedure is very effective for teeth that have been stained by ageing or the consumption of staining substances such as coffee, tea, colas, tobacco, red wine, etc. It also whitens teeth discolouration by medicines, such as tetracycline, antibiotics or excessive fluoride. The degree of whiteness will vary from person to person, depending on the structure of the teeth. We guarantee 2-6 shades lighter!

Does the procedure hurt?

No, although sensitivity during the treatment may occur. On rare occasions, minor tingling sensations are experienced immediately after the procedure, but these will always quickly dissipate.

Most people are not sensitive, but on rare occasions, people are not aware that they might be sensitive to the peroxide (as could happen at a hair salon). We do not recommend getting the treatment done less than 10 days before a special occasion, just in case sensitivities occur.

Why is it so cheap?

It started in the US and the UK. They soon realised that teeth whitening is not a part of the dental and medical industry, but is a simple, straightforward cosmetic procedure. This is what enables us to provide teeth whitening at such a reasonable price.

Does teeth whitening work on veneers and caps?

Teeth whitening is always about lifting the stains that have accumulated on our teeth. It will make your veneers and caps look like new again. This is highly recommended and works extremely well. Some people who have only 1 or 2 veneers are concerned that they will stand out more than the rest of the teeth. This is not the case as our product has a way of evening out the colour.

Does teeth whitening damage the enamel?

Teeth whitening does not damage the enamel of your teeth. It works only on the surface of the tooth and does not penetrate the tooth in any way.

How long does it last?

Teeth whitening can last up to 2 years. However, if you drink coffee, smoke, take certain medications or consume colourful foods, your teeth will become discoloured faster. We recommend doing the treatment every 6 months for maintenance. Generally, the treatment will hold for up to 2 years.

What type of light do you use?

Our accelerator uses the most advanced technology to produce a cold light. The LED light operates in a narrow wavelength range of the gentle blue spectrum. The process removes harmful heat and ultraviolet light, making the Prowhitening accelerator the most advanced cold light whitening device on the market.

What is the gel?

The active ingredient is carbamide peroxide. This component makes the teeth whiter.

Is there aftercare?

In order for the results to last longer, you should follow some simple care instructions. To keep your teeth looking their best, we recommend flossing and brushing twice daily. We also recommend brushing after using staining substances such as coffee, tea, colas, tobacco, red wine, etc. With proper oral hygiene, you can maintain your beautiful white smile for up to two years.

Keeping White Pen

The Prowhitening Keeping White Pen is used for general maintenance of specific areas of teeth. We recommend using it before any special occasions. It also improves the whitening process directly after a treatment. It should be used 1 to 2 times daily after brushing teeth by applying a thin layer on each tooth. It has a refreshing taste and, in some cases, can even allow you to jump a shade or 2 lighter.

Qualification of the Prowhitening representatives

Representatives are specifically trained to demonstrate the use of their simple self-use kit. Having a representative guide you through the process is an easy, quick and pleasurable experience.

Can teeth whitening damage dental work?

It is advised to ask your dentist / doctor if they have any concerns regarding your personal dental / oral condition. Teeth whitening is available over the counter in any chemist. In most cases, there should be no reason for concern.

Is the Prowhitening product TGA approved?

The TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) has stated that teeth whitening products are regulated as goods that are not therapeutic goods. It is instead regulated by the Australian Health Department NICNAS – National Industrial Chemical Notification and Assessment Scheme. Prowhitening holds a registered certificate with NICNAS.
